Q: Why should I choose MK Model Portfolios, when there are other portfolio photography services available?

A: Unlike many other photography services, we specialise in studio and location photography, producing portfolios for both new and established models, as well as a first class makeover and boudoir photography service. Also, as part of our service and at no extra cost to you, we advise on which agencies to approach and also which ones to avoid!

Also, at no extra cost to you we provide you with your own personal online viewing gallery, so you can view the images in the comfort of your own home and then let us know which ones you would like.

Q: I would like my hair and makeup done by a professional stylist. Can you provide this service?

A: Yes. We have a team of highly experienced makeup artists and hair stylists who will be happy to attend the shoot if you wish. If you are booking one of our Boudoir or Portfolio packages this will incurr an additional charge but we believe that you will find the prices very competitive. If you would like a quote for this service then please specify this when you contact us. Please note:- The services of a makeup and hair stylist are included in all of our makeover packages as standard.

Q: I would like to meet you before making a booking in order to discuss my requirements. Would this be possible?

A: Yes of course! Here at MK Model Portfolios, we like to meet clients before a shoot to discuss their exact requirements. We are also happy to meet with potential clients who would like to chat about the photoshoot before deciding whether to go ahead and make a booking. The meeting is completely free of charge and there is absolutely no obligation for you to make a booking. We 'have' never and 'will' never adopt high pressure sales tactics, and we are firmly against this.

Q: Do you offer bespoke packages as well as your standard packages?

A:Yes, definately! We quite often put together bespoke packages for clients and discuss their requirements fully in order to put together a package that is just right for them and within a budget that they can afford.

Q: Do you sell gift vouchers?

A:Yes, we offer gift vouchers for all of our packages. Further details can be found here.

Q: Are you covered by insurance?

A: Yes, we have public liability insurance in place at all times.

Q: Are you a member of any professional organisations/bodies?

A: Yes, we are members of the 'Society of International Fashion and Glamour Photographers (SIFGP) and also the 'British Professional Photographers Associates' (BPPA)

Q: We would like to see examples of your work before deciding whether or not to contact you for a quote, how do we go about doing this?

A: You can view examples of our work by clicking on the links under the 'Image Galleries' heading in the left hand menu.. All of the images in these galleries are our own work and you can click on a thumbnail version of an image to see a larger version.

Q: How long are quotations valid for?

A: Quotations are valid for a period of 3 months from the date that the quotation has been provided.

Q: I live in Yorkshire, would you consider producing a portfolio for me?

A: We would not generally cover an area as far away as this, as we primarily cover the Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire areas. However, at our discretion and dependant on other commitments, we may be able to produce a portfolio for clients based outside of these areas.

Q: I would like to view my images online after the shoot. Am I able to do this?

A: Yes, we will upload your images to an album which is located in our website image gallery. We will supply you with a username and password so that you can access your 'personal' proof album. You can also give the username and password details to family and friends so that they can then log in to our site and view the album too. This way, you can view the album at your leisure and select which images you would like full size versions of. Note:- Your personal album is 'not' viewable by the general public. This service is provided at no extra cost to you.

Q: How long will the proof album be available to view on your website?

A: Your proof album will be available to view on our website for a period of 3 months from the date that the album is first made available. Please ensure that all orders are placed within this time. MK Model Portfolios can, at your request, extend the period of time that the album is available. We would need to be notified by e-mail if you wish us to do this.
